Driving from Palmerston North
NZP is situated in a pleasant rural location at the end of Weld Street, about 16 km from the centre of Palmerston North (the Square). From Palmerston North, drive along Highway 57 until you reach the side road, Whitmore Road. Turn right onto Whitmore Road and drive the final 3 km down Whitmore Road before turning left into Weld Street. Driving from Wellington
For visitors travelling north to NZP from Wellington, turn right, off State Highway 1 onto Highway 57 just south of Levin. Drive through the townships of Shannon and Tokomaru. The turn-off onto Whitmore Road from Highway 57 is about 9 km past Tokomaru. Travel down Whitmore Road for about 3 km then turn left onto Weld Street. We are about 135 km north of Wellington.
